ACP's accumulated knowledge and experience in Education and Research is currently being invested with great success in the design of primary and secondary schools in association with Private Finance Initiative consortia. Completed projects include the award winning Debden Park High School and Enfield Highlands School. Under construction or being refurbished are another seventeen schools designed by ACP in Clacton, Newham, Enfield, Bexley and Swindon. ACP is also architect to several consortia making further ITN submissions for PFI Schools and Schools for the Future projects around the country. ACP's portfolio of educational projects reflects the development of education in England since 1945, from primary through to higher education. ACP has been involved with overall design or the ongoing development of eleven universities, continuing today with research laboratories for Imperial College and Kings College, London. ACP's work for the private sector continues with the Dolphin Montessori school near Reading, and for the voluntary aided sector with the preparation of TCF bids and designs for RC schools in the archdiocese of Westminster. Over the years ACP has completed numerous specialist education projects, including St Paul’s Choir School and schools for the disabled. In the tradition of ACP we have extended our educational work overseas with past projects for the World Bank and Foreign Governments, and currently a technical college in Saudi Arabia. |
